Scotty, I have a 2002 Chrysler 300m. I’m a decent mechanic and I do all my own repairs. I rebuilt my automatic transmission 30,000 miles ago after it went out leaving me stranded on the side of the road. It shifts and drives great still 30,000 miles after the rebuild. I want to service the fluid in it so I talked to my “mechanic” buddy about it and he said don’t touch it, use the same fluid till it goes out again. What should I actually do as far as servicing it??

I agree with him on that particular transmission to change the fluid it could start slipping
He said to use sea foam transmission conditioner if I want to do something, what are your thoughts about that?
