2013 elantra GT Automatic

Every once in a while (during or after rain usually) transmission goes in limp mode. After a day or so goes back to normal and check engine dissapears.
Code that comes during limo mode is P0773 : “shift solenoid 'E' electrical
Took it to mechanic they said need to change transmission or rebuild or solenoids.
But my concern is that it only happens during rain or right after heavy rain and then dissappear. When the issue is not present transmission shifts normally with no shake and etc.
What do you think causes that?

well it sounds like you have some transmission wires or connectors that are getting wet
