What do you think would be more reliable, the auto trans on a 2005 tundra or the manual trans for the ssame model year! It's also 4x4 !

Manual transmissions are an order of magnitude simpler, and fixing them usually costs hundreds instead of thousands.

Now, a bad driver can fry the clutch in a few days - but again, a new clutch is a lot cheaper than a idiot driver damaged auto trans.

Thats a great point! Thanks!

If you can drive a manual, and don’t live in an area with heavy traffic, get the manual.

A Toyota manual vehicle can last basically forever, as long as you keep the engine healthy.

Thank you! Another awesome point!
