Hi Scotty Canadian here
I just bought a 2007 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer with a 6cyl 4.0 automatic transmission and 215,000KM and paid 4500$ CDN....I am pretty happy with it but i just wanted to know your views on it and what i should be looking forward to

They can be ok SUV's but you want to stay on top of maintenance. It has a lot of miles so hopefully you don't drive it daily, at least any real distance.

Better than the 2006 model (lots of transmission problems) but still, a significant number of tranny problems. I'd keep a close eye on the ATF and change it a bit more frequently.
