I have a 2000 monte Carlo SS 100,000 to 150,000 miles 3800 v6 automatic. I had jacked under the transmission so i could repair the oil pump and replace the oil pan gasket. I cranked the car up put it in gear nothing . It would not move in no gear, R,1,2,or3, it made a noise when i put it in park. Did i do something to the transmission?

You could have dislodged the filter, starving the transmission of fluid
