NEED HELP PLEASE!
1989 Ford Crown Vic LTD 5.0 Windsor 302 145k miles.
I have a small leak in transmission, my car will shift into Park and Only Reverse.
Previously the car would shift into Drive, but I wouldn’t be able to shift into overdrive or Low gear, the shifter wouldn’t move past D-drive . Now when I try to shift into Drive it just shifts into reverse and park only .
please help. It’s parked in my garage and exhausting all options before getting it towed.
any way I can force or do something to shift into neutral to roll it out of my garage ?

Definitely sounds like internal failure to me. No way to force it into neutral. You're most likely looking at having it towed and putting in a new transmission.
I would be looking at getting another vehicle.
