Dear Scotty, I inherited an ‘05 Scion XB with only 29,000 miles and plan to keep it as a commuter car. I can’t see any record of the transmission ever being serviced in the paperwork, should I have a basic service or a full flush or do nothing? Thanks I love your channel!

29,000 miles. Doubt it was ever done. But it's 16 yrs old. Do the drain/fill (no flush) and keep up with the schedule shown in owners manual.

What's the mileage on it?
I would likely do a drain and fill, but do not flush it.
