I have a 2019 nissa Sentra that's starting to have shifting problems . I was wondering what's the best next option I'm at 100,429 miles I just bought some more coolant and some Castrol transmax cvt oil . It's and automatic transmission. Should I add the oil or is there a draining process. Or should I trade the transmission fluid for the Lucas oil slip fix and see if the additive will help it .
Realize those are total crabbers and probably just wearing out but what the heck I would change the fluid and hope it helps but I doubt it would. I would not put the Lucas in that transmission cuz it's a CVT
Use the Nissan fluid for your CVT.
If you’ve never changed the ATF before, then maybe it’s too late. But like Scotty says, try your luck & pray the new fluid helps.
If nothing changes, get rid of the car ASAP.
