Hey Scotty,
I recently purchased a used 2008 Mazda CX9 4WD from a mechanic. Its has 177,000 Km. He did the safety, tune up, the works. However, just yesterday I noticed there was a bit of slipping while its in 5th or 6th gear between 1200 to 1500 Rpm and there is also a shuddering sound. Im sure its coming from the torque converter. I bought a lubegard instant shudder fix and wanted to ask you if its ok to use it with the current transmission fluid.? Or should i wait and let the mechanic look at it?
Thanks,
Jonathan

That stuff is just a last ditch effort to get a little extra life out of the transmission. Have a decent independent transmission shop diagnosis the problem and proceed from there.
