- I have a mazda 2 2017 1.3l automatic with 43k miles and it makes a brief whistling sound when it changes gear, kind of like a turbo would make even though this car doesn't have one. Is it normal for these cars to make that sound or is there something wrong? Thanks

Well it's not normal but with that low mileage I'd say change the fluid and filter and see if it goes away

Ok, there seems to be alot of people online with the same cars who are experiencing the same sound
