Transmitter and emergency key

Scotty, I’ve got a 2017 RAV4 with just over 20,000 miles on it. When I purchased it, it only came with one transmitter and emergency key. I’d like to pick up a used OEM transmitter and blank key from eBay and have it programmed and cut. Do you think the dealership would be able to assist in programming and key cutting or should I just take it to my local locksmith? Hardware, programming and key would be over $450 from the dealership.

Go to your local locksmith. The dealer charges too much.
