I have a 2015 Jeep Cherokee 2.4 motor and it runs great luckily no issues since I owed it.
I want to do a drain and fill and wondering if triax fluids are good for it trying to save money and it says it’s compatible. There so many different types or would I use the original and just put up the money for the factory fluid. It’s at about 60k on the fluid in it now and and shifts good but just want to keep it going as long as possible
thanks for your help and thoughts,
Mike P
Never heard of "Triax" fluid. The safest approach of course is to use the factory fluid. Alternatively a leading brand of transmission fluid designed specifically for your transmission should be OK. (Avoid "universal" fluids which are not really right for anything.) Check your owner's manual for the fluid specification to look for.
