Trip with Toyota Tacoma

I have a 2023 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 Sport (manual transmission) with under 10k miles. My family and I are thinking about taking a road trip from California to Georgia to New England back to California sometime around May/June to see friends and family. Driving my own vehicle seems more economic than renting/flying, and Tacomas from what I have been told seem reliable, but would putting 6500-7000 miles on a vehicle in 3 or so weeks be the best idea? Should I just bite the bullet and fly or rent a car?

If you can afford the gas go ahead

It won't hurt it a bit, I have put tons of miles in short time on my Lexus GX470. Tacomas are known for reliability.

Just check it out before you go, and check out Scotty's advice for long trips.

You will need to get at least one oil change along the way.
