Hi Scotty
I have a f-150 Tremor.
I don't like the look of the rake.
What are the cons (and pros if any) of installing a leveling kit? I'm not talking about lifting the whole truck just raising the front about 2" to level the truck.
What year is it please???
2022
They orient them slightly nose down from the factory in anticipation of the consumer towing heavy stuff. When your truck has a 500 pound tongue weight from a trailer sitting on the back, the truck rides level, instead of angling slightly up and obstructing your view. The additional weight compresses the leaf springs so the rear end squats down.
If you don't tow, you can probably get away with a leveling kit. Personally, I wouldn't put one in. They designed it to perform that way.
Well they're made at that angle so they handle the best. If you want it to look different go ahead but you will lose some of the handling capability
If you ever load heavy stuff into the bed it's going to look funny.
