I got a 1998 GMC Sierra with the 5.7 Vortec and 243000 miles. Trucks runs great but under heavy acceleration or towing a trailer it has started to misfire. What's going here. Love the vids

Have acceleration stress is an engine it could be lots of things but knowing those vortex odds are your fuel injection system is starting to break down it is plastic spider injectors that often start to break down with that age and you have to replace all of them if you wanted to run correctly. Any mechanic worth of salt can analyze it quickly and tell you if it is an injection problem then you're looking at quite a bit of money to fix that
