when i start my truck (2006 dodge Dakota) it sounds like im Reving the engine. And I know im not but it happens whenever I start my truck up. What could it be?

Are there any codes? Could be a cold start control concern or could be normal. All vehicles will run at a high idle when first started to allow the engine to warm quicker

In the old days, we called it a "choke." Nowadays, the computer raises the idle rpm to compensate for the rich mixture required to start the engine. What will they think of next?
