I have a 2002 nissan Altima 6cyl it’s at 204k miles and sometimes it will randomly stop on the road. It starts with the break light coming on the dashboard and the breaks go hard and the vehicle stops. The breaks only loosen up a bit when you try to turn on the ignition but when you turn it off it goes back to being hard to press. The lights on the dashboard come on but when you try to turn the actual car on it won’t, you will only hear a rattling sound. Please help.

Well it sure sounds to me like you're losing electrical power. Could be as simple as weak ignition switch or is complex as a computer failure or wiring, power or ground fault somewhere. I'd start by checking the ignition switch. They're pretty cheap to replace
