Is this a serious problem( took to my mechanic and he got a transmission error code). He said to take it to somewhere that specializes in cvt transmissions. I’ve got 125,000 miles on the car. Had the car since 100,000. Didn’t know cars had transmission fluid and never changed it. I did add some cvt Tran fix fluid into it. I am currently waiting as I put some more miles on it to see if it helps. What do you recommend. Should I fix the trans? Sell the car? Is this just an annoyance, or is this a big problem or will it so become one?

they can't be fixed. it's going to need a new transmission soon
