Hey Scotty I’m trying to look for a trustworthy and reliable mechanic and I’m having trouble finding one for my family
there’s so many scams an deception going on how do I find a mechanic that I can trust
Ok, here's some signs to look for when you're looking for a decent mechanic.
1. Honest mechanics usually don't work at dealerships and chain shops, so just avoid those altogether.
2. They'll not only point out things that need to be fixed on your car before it breaks, but show proof that there is actually a problem rather than making up a bunch of BS.
3. The can level with you and tell you straight up if you should have your car fixed or buy a new one, and they'll help you find a good car.
4. They don't try to sell you things or have brand loyalty to any manufacture.
5. They have good interactions with their customers and explain things in a well detailed manner on what's going on with their vehicle.
