Hi there,
It rained heavily and after I drove my car for an hour or so. I noticed the turning signal was not working. No click sound, no arrow on the dashboard, the light didn't blink.
By accident, I tried the emergency light, i pressed the button, didn't work, I pressed several times, didn't work. Then I pressed and held the emergency light button for a few seconds, it worked! Then I tried my turning signal again, it worked like nothing happened! Maybe something is wearing out.
What do you think i should check and change? Thank you very much and have a nice day!
For now I would just chalk it up to something got wet and eventually dried enough to work again. I wouldn’t go poking around replacing parts unless it happens again. That’s a good way to introduce problems. In future please provide make/model/year.
Thank you very much for your answer , it is a 2009 toyota corolla. Have a nice day
It could be the relay going out.
