2009 CRV 59000K.

Apparently this code is very common and problematic since it could be a number of things. Any suggestions?

Thanks

'U' codes means the computers aren't talking to each other properly.

Check your fuses + relays

Get your electrical system load tested (battery + alternator). Autzone and battery dealers often do this as a free courtesy.

If it's not that, then you have electrical faults (chafed wires, water in connectors, corrosion, etc.). It can be very difficult to track down and would require someone skilled in this domain.

Thanks for your help Mr. MountainManJoe. I will follow your advice. Look out for grizzlies and be safe.
