2010 Lexus ES350 AC not working! (Climate Control System Error)

My 2010 Lexus ES350 (230K Miles) AC is not working. I've had this issue before when my compressor went out. I got it replaced about 2 months ago and now it's not working again. I checked for leaks, no where to be found. I even replaced the cabin air filter which was dirty and needed to be replaced anyways but that didn't solve it either. HELP!

Did you use a brand new or rebuilt compressor?

It could be an electronics failure in which case it would need to be diagnosed with a professional grade bidirectional scan tool.

Assuming the electronics are working what you can start with is hook up a manifold gauge set and see if there is enough pressure in the system to permit the compressor to operate. The pressure required depends on the vehicle but would typically be between 10 and 20 psi. (That's not enough for cooling but is sufficient to permit lubricant to circulate to the compressor so it is not destroyed.) If there is no pressure or very little the low pressure safety cutoff disables the compressor.

How did you check for leaks? Electronic detector? UV dye? An evaporator leak would not be readily visible but if there is UV dye in the system there would be some residue around the condensation drain.

If your original compressor suffered catastrophic failure (seizing up), just about all of the other parts in the AC system should have been replaced due to contamination by metal debris.
