Union Made GMC: Problems to look for?

Scotty,

I've just bought a 2018 GMC Sierra 1500, V6, 145,000 miles, automatic. Cash price: $20,000 not including tax.

Truck was owned by a company, then employee leased an additional year. Truck is union Made in Indiana. Feels smooth, other than occasional rough shifting. No rust. Have all maintenance papers from day of purchase, they did a great job keeping routine. Also, no tow hitch connected, so I'm assuming no towing was done. Maybe a salesmen work truck?

Any tips to make this thing last? Other than not buying it haha. Can I really not get another hundred thousand out of this truck without dumping serious cash? What's the deal with GMC vs Chevy?

Thanks a ton, from Louisiana.

on a post bankruptcy GM light duty ... no. The quality just isn't there.

With already 145k , this truck is overpriced.  Might be worth it if you get the price down, but you'll never really have peace of mind.
