Hello everyone,
What makes a fuel gauge keep changing the fuel reading? My 2002 explorer sport trac's fuel gauge reading goes down a little then up. Sometimes it goes down and when stop at a place then restart it, it goes back to the correct reading. I read it's a sensor issue, but advice on what it exactly is?

It is most likely the sending unit attached to the fuel pump in your gas tank.
