I travel about 50,000 miles per year.  What type of car is best to buy?

What type of car do you need? I can see you do a lot of highway driving but do you need something fuel efficient like a compact car or full-size pickup to load or tow? How much are you willing to spend on a car with this market?

A compact car would be great no electric car lol. Like a Toyota Camry or Corolla or a Honda Accord or civic. Which ever is best. I guess what year those car don’t have recalls

Toyota or Honda:  start there.  You obviously rack a lot of miles so those two brands will best serve your needs.  Need more details on what you are looking for in your vehicle.  A Toyota Camry is a good choice but does that fulfill your other constraints?

I’m driving a 2018 Chevy Cruz now that has 236,000. $15,000 is probably the highest I’ll go on a travel car.

Corolla or Civic for compact car.

Accord or Camry for midsized car.

RAV4 or CRV for compact SUV.

HRV or Corolla Cross for subcompact SUV.

Highlander or Pilot for mid/full size SUV.

4Runner for off-road SUV.

Tacoma for a truck like truck.

Ridgeline for a car like truck.

Odyssey or Sienna for mini van.

Prius for stand alone hybrid.

Toyota Crown in two tone if you like high quality ugly looking cars.
