Hey Scotty,
Thinking about purchasing a 2018 Highlander with the 8 speed transmission. I have read some mixed articles with alleged lawsuit because of problems with the Toyota 8 speed transmission. Is this true and should I purchased? Asking price is $28k with 45k miles.

They don't have any actual transmission failures. The main thing is some people just don't like the way the eight-speed shift because they're made for gas mileage and sometimes they sort of hunt for gears and certain situations. But if you could put it in sport mode. Generally all that goes away. It mainly does it when you're an eco mode
