Hey scotty I’m thinking of purchasing a used car from a local dealership I cannot decide between a 8th generation honda accord (2008-2012) or the 1st generation hyundai genesis (2008-2014) I want a car that is reliable, a tad bit sporty and has sharper handling then a camry and doesn’t break down alot like the Germans snd Italians and Gm, chryslers do I also am thinking of a used lexus or acura as a backup option what do you think is the 8th generation accord more or less reliable?

A hyundai genesis x'D you gotta be kidding those cars are HORRIBLE and the exact opposite of reliable. The Honda is by FAR a better car no question. The Koreans make horrible cars and Scotty has talked about how bad they are for years and years. Honda all the way.
The genesis is more reliable then per say a bmw, jaguar or mercedes but not more than the accord 🙂

But I can guarantee 100% that the Accord is by far more reliable I'd actually recommend the last half 2011-2012 he even has it on his best used cars to buy videos go check them out.
Hyundais tend to fall apart around 100k miles.
