Used Honda Sedan vs New Toyota SUV

Hello from Syracuse. Have a deposit on a new RAV4 xle awd for msrp but am tempted at a 2019 Honda accord 2L touring with 53000 miles for $26700. I tried to bring it down to 26000 with no luck. What do you guys think? Trying to stay clear of CVTs and cars that don't depreciate if used. Went with the RAV4 over Camry because there is space for my bike (would compromise to save money but get features). Should I go for the Honda or just wait?

The RAV4 isn’t that much more money and it will be brand new with more utility, and used car prices are still insane.  Go with the RAV4.

Thanks for the advice Whatchamacallit.

RAV4. It’s basically a Camry underneath, just with a crossover SUV body. They used to be Corolla’s underneath. But the latest generation is now Camry based. It’s one of the best bang for you buck SUV’s you can get, IMHO.

Get the Accord if you need a sedan. But it sounds like a crossover suv will be more up your alley.

Thanks for the advice Kaizen. I don't specifically need a sedan vs a suv. I just need a car. There are benefits to both that I can live without within reason. I just want good (cool) features for the money. Thought that maybe the $35000 msrp car coming down to 27000 was good. I guess to yall it didn't depreciate enough to be a good deal. This is my first time in the car buying market so I don't know better.
