I recently bought a 2018 Corvette from a Chevy dealership out of state and was told they put all new tires on the vehicle when they brought it in. It turns out they didn't replace the tires and the original tires are on the vehicle. I have everything in email so it's just not my word. I am asking they send me a check to cover the price of new tires but have not heard anything back yet. What should I do?
if you paid before seeing the goods, then I hope that's a lesson for you.
If they don't cooperate and you want your tires then you'll have to take them to court I guess.
Hope it doesn't come to small claims court but it might have to happen because of what these tires will cost me. Thanks for your help.

Did you personally inspect the vehicle before you bought it or did you buy it “sight unseen” and have it transported to your house?
.
Stealerships lie and you can’t trust anything they say. It was incumbent on you to check the tires in person (and everything else) before you bought it.

Have you called them up? Keep trying, but if you still can’t get a hold of them, I would just eat the cost and move on. Personally, for me, going to small claims court for tires is not worth my time. This is a lesson learned for you if you didn’t inspect in person before buying. That being said, you can put negative reviews of their dealership on Google, Yelp, and whatever other platform they may be on.
I wired the funds and signed the paperwork before flying out to pick up the car. I looked at the tires before driving home. The tread is good on the tires but based on the date codes (pointed out by my local dealership) they are 5 year old tires. I never knew I would have to check date codes. I plan to file a claim with the BBB to get the cost of the 3000 dollars plus worth of tires. Tires have a max life of 10 years and having the new tires was a reason I choose this Corvette over another.

Never go back to dealerships in your life.
If your car had a mechanical fault / had the odometer / components tempered with - people who can't be trusted to replace tires would obviously hide those things too.
Consider going through small claims court, but obviously a lawyer would cost way more than the tires and going on your own can be a bit hard.
See where you can file a complaint, I do not know the specifics on your area, some kind of consumer protection organization perhaps.
So many dealerships are scam artists, it might be intentional.
Call them, come in when they have costumers and loudly ask them why did they charge for tires and not supply them, leave a review that details your experiance on google maps, yelp, whatever - call them again.
Make it so that giving you what they owe you is easier than denying it, but be careful.
Also a lot of these scammy places absolutely crap their pants when they get a letter from an attorney so that might work (I had to do it once with a Renualt dealership)
Try contacting corporate if the dealership if the dealership is a Chevy dealership, or if the dealership is a part of a larger chain. Other than that you can post the name and city of the dealership here and Scotty might call them out in a video lol, then maybe they’ll do something… otherwise it’s time to get a lawyer
