Hello Scotty, just wondering which used suv you think is a better buy, 2019 Rav 4 XLE all wheel drive,  or 2017 Mazda GT CX5 all wheel drive. I watch your videos a lot and you say both seem good so just wondering if Rav 4 worth the extra money? CX5 is quite a bit cheaper, I live in Alberta,  Canada,  thanks. {black}:eat:

what is "quite a bit cheaper"?

2017 is probably the best year for the CX-5, and 2019 is probably the worst RAV4 year in the last decade because of transmission issues. You would want a mechanic to check it out before buying.

If the CX-5 is a good amount cheaper I would get that but your best bet now would be to test drive them see which one you like best. I would also consider looking at a 2016-2018 Toyota RAV4.

Okay thanks for advice, the CX5 is about 7000 cheaper.

That is quite a bit cheaper actually. Get whichever one you like more and definitely have a mechanic check it out.

Both are good vehicles. The RAV4 did have transmission problems because of the way they shift. The RAV4 is good for longevity and the CX5 for affordability. But it comes down to preference.
