I'm looking to buy a used Toyota 4 runner for the 4 wheel drive capability. Are there any specific years to avoid or things I should I know? There are so many trim options and generations. I did some light research and couldn't find much, pretty much stated everything was good for all generations, lol. Any further input would be great, thank you!

Good cars. Don't buy anything without a pre-inspection.
