I have a 2006 dodge charger rt with 50k original miles. Clean Carfax and actual mileage, is it a good idea to get a transmission fluid change or is it too late because of age?.. dealership wont touch it

Age doesn't matter to a transmission. No such thing as too late. Just make sure you follow service procedures carefully.
@imperator dealership told me the fluid could be contaminated, but this car was always serviced and still smells new, slight shudder when I'm driving slow and the second gear shifts, but as soon as it gets to a higher speed everything is really smooth, car was basically kept in a garage all its life and would often not be driven for months, gas paddle shudders not car, and only at really low speeds
