2018 Honda Civic EX Turbo 1.5 manual transmission with one hundred forty thousand miles. A/C stopped working three weeks ago. Please help Scotty! I live near Yuma AZ and it’s too hot to drive with the windows down.
The AC compressor isn’t turning on. I was told it was the fan clutch, I had it replaced with a rebuilt one and it still isn’t working. The fuses have been checked. The car blows warm air. One of the a/c valves is bad, it’s leaking. I was told to take it to an auto electrician.
The last a/c mechanic who changed my a/c clutch fan had drained my battery from leaving the car on. Then they tried jump starting it with a jumper pack. It didnt start then he used a different battery. They checked the fuses again and ECM wasn’t getting any signal to the sensors. The mechanic then had the ecm repaired.
Now mechanics are scared to touch my car because they don’t want to be responsible if I have a short and my ecm goes bad again.

You need a mechanic who isn't scared of cars. That's kind of pathetic. Did you try a dedicated AC shop?
If you're not able to work on the AC system yourself (if not familiar with it you shouldn't), you need to find a good mechanic who will actually take the time to properly diagnose the AC system.
There are a lot of things that can cause the compressor clutch to not engage. (Presumably that is what you meant by "fan clutch".) Probably the most common would be refrigerant too low or failed low-pressure cutoff switch, or a bad AC relay. Could also be wiring or connector problem or HVAC module problem, etc. nI would think that in Arizona there would be a lot of HVAC specialists.
@chucktobias I never said I was working on my car. And also my AC relay was checked. Another comment, the check engine light is not on.
