My 2011 f-150 finally stopped working. I recently bought a 2022 gr 86 which has been lots of fun to drive. I live in Canada so we get lots of snow and while the gr86 has really good snow tires, I need to replace my truck for when we get snow storms as I put my snowblower on the bed to clean my parents driveway. I think I wont need a full size truck but a midsize would do the job. Other than the tacoma, are there any good mid or full size trucks for 25-30k that are capable in the snow and are good for winter daily driving(ideally a 6 cylinder as a I do some occasional towing).
At that price, you’re probably looking at a 5 year old mid size, or a little older half ton.
The taco is the gold standard in mid sizers. And the previous gen tundra for full size. The others have pros and cons that have been previously discussed. Take a look at the search bar above.
Good luck!
Scotty has stated that the previous generation Nissan Frontier is a decent truck, though not as good as the Tacoma.
