Hey Scotty back in January I purchased a 2009 Mercedes s550 4matic. The thing was very depreciated cost me about 14k. Has the m273 5.5 naturally aspirated v8 in it. So far I had to get the transmission conductor plate on it changed, a control arm, and a hub assembly changed on it. Doesn’t have any lights and seems to run fine I drive it daily. Got any suggestions on things too look out for? I’ve heard a lot about the air magic suspension having problems but mine still works just fine, compressor makes a lot of noise when running though. Car has about 127,000 miles on it and I plan on keeping it until about 200,000 miles.

Bad idea unless you have an endless supply of money to keep it running..
It's going to take an awfully large amount of cold, hard cash to keep that thing running to 200,000+ miles.
Endless money pit; run away from it.
I know this guy from many years ago who has a small shop and sells parts for Mercedes and BMW cars so I've heard enough horror stories about such cars. He told me one time this one customer got so fed up with this Mercedes he had (I think it was a 2010 or 2011) that he came dropped it off at this guy's shop with the keys and everything and said just give me a few bucks so I can take the bus back home because I'm done with this garbage. So just get rid of it and don't spend even a penny more on it.
