My grandaughter has a 2011 vw eos that runs rough and stalls at stops,it has 110,000 miles on it and an automatic transmission .she took it to a vw dealer and they charged her $500.00 to replace the pcv and cover and it still does the same things. Now they tell her the rear main seal is bad and costing the vacum and want another $1000,00to replace it.Is it possible the rear main seal could cause this to happen?
.It also has a code for multiple missfires
Thank You

No. If the rear main seal were bad the engine would be dumping oil out all over the place.
Forget the dealer, they're ripping you off. If you're not going to work on the vehicle yourself find a good independent mechanic that can do a proper diagnosis.
finding vacuum leaks is easier than you think. You might be able to find a smoke machine loaner at the parts store.
