2003 Neon 136k sxt SOHC
I have a ticking noise at cold that goes away when warmed up
Ive checked for exhaust leaks and found none.
I also have poor idle when hot.
I have also replaced the head gasket but no other issues have arose.
After checking every single other item on the list of a rough idle, a buddy tells me it could be the valve clearances.
So a few questions in one.
How do I adjust the clearances?
What is the clearance for the intake/exhaust?
Would it be easier/better to just replace the rocker arms?

No he knows clunkers it probably needs rocker arms and may need lifters too
