I recently purchased a 2004 GMC Yukon SLT with 92,000 miles for $7,000 through a private party. The vehicle shows to be under close to mint conditions and was well taken care of. The last owner shared that they always pumped chevron 91 premium fuel and did oil changes with synthetic blend oil. Should I continue pumping the same fuel type? Use synthetic engine oil? And what other recommendations are there for someone to keep the vehicle in good if not better conditions when when becoming the new owner after purchasing a used vehicle. Greatly appreciate any advice

Your Yukon is not able to benefit from 91 octane gasoline. It's straight up flushing money down the toilet.  You can switch fuel pumps as many times as you like.

Synthetic motor oil is proven to be better for all engines. Use synthetic, and stay up to date on the maintenance outlined in the owner's manual.
