Manual says DO NOT use the 4 wheel drive unless your tires are spinning. Can I not drive with it on continuously, in the winter, I live in a snow belt.

Scotty has live car talks twice a week on Youtube for 30 minutes. Thursday at 1p.m. Chicago CST, Saturday at 10a.m.

The button is a lock.
When it's off, it's in automatic mode, and the computer will engage 4WD when the wheels slip.
When the button is on, 4WD is locked on. Driving like this on dry pavement, or for long periods of time will damage your drivetrain. But I suspect that will turn itself off anyway.
