Hello
My dad is looking into buying a volvo v70 from 2008 with the 2.0 engine and 160.000 km to replace his subaru forester from 2007.
Are these volvo's reliable, do they have transmission issues and are the 2.0 engine any good.
From what I understand these are ford engines.
My dad lives in Sweden were I suppose parts are cheaper the car he has been looking at is about 6 thousand euros.

Well the cars themselves are pretty good but the engine is a bit on the iffy side here in the US most of them had five cylinder engines that were much better engines
