Hi, Scotty!
I have a 2011 Volvo XC90 R-Design with 143000 miles and today when leaving my house the steering wheel was very hard to turn and the belt started car started squealing like crazy. I am thinking it could be the power steering pump or system or belt? The power steering fluid looks great bright yellow and I don’t know what to do. The dealership is very far away for towing so wanted to get it fixed if possible.
do you have any ideas or thoughts??

Inspect the belt. If it is ok, odds are that the power steering pump is acting up.
Find a local mechanic to check it out, you don't need to go a dealership.
