Hello, I just bought a 2011 VW GTI are they good sports cars

To sum it up, I went onto the owner complaint site for the VW GTI, and the first that pops up is

I think that is the best thing to do with your GTI if you care about dependability and cost of ownership

"I found it ridiculous that a 2011 car with only 35,000 mile on it had a throttle body issue. VW of North America agreed and paid for the repair. VW was redeemed..."

In terms of reliability, not the best choice. But, you don't buy a GTI for reliability. You buy it because its a hot hatch. If your happy, there are many people who owned them and love it but wouldn't buy another one because of how expensive parts are and how unreliable they are etc. etc.
