Just a note. The Walmart battery just died in my CRV.
I knew it was old, but surprised to find is was manufactured January 2010 (1/10).
Never had a battery last that long.
I once had a battery from the factory (made by Johnson Controls) that lasted thirteen years.
I’ve had terrible luck with Walmart batteries, so I stopped using them many years back. I’ve known many others too that had issues (didn’t even last 2 years). I can’t recommend them.
I generally switch them out at 5 years. Never had one fail sooner.
That’s amazing that battery lasted so long. I’ve just always stuck to the good ol duralast battery and it’s never failed.
Yes. I'm shocked. Never heard anything bad about the duralast either.
Well you got your money's worth out of that one.
I use Optima batteries. Most of my applications require a lot of cold cranking amps and they have treated me well. Pricey though.
