2002 ford f-150 4.6L crew cab
215,000 miles automatic with overdrive
There is water in the oil but no oil in the coolant reservoir. It hasn't over heated that I know of.. This is a replacement engine. The heater core was never hooked up when the engine was replaced. I would try the steel seal but I have no blower fan, ect. Is there a sealant I can add to the oil instead? The truck is in good shape except for this new compromised gasket seal,
2 it's lack of heat and blower fan quit, some times it magically starts blowing but only on 4 Max
3 it leaks at the roof, drivers side back seat of the crew cab. Is that a common problem?
You need to find the source of the leak, most likely a bad head gasket or a cracked cylinder head. Over time coolant in the oil will wipe out bearings and destroy the engine. You could try the Bar's Leak head gasket sealer that Scotty has talked about but if it works at all it would be a temporary bandaid.
