A/C Not working

Hey Scotty, I was working on my friends 2005 Kia Vue A/C. Fans in the engine bay were not turning and inside the car it was blowing hot air. I checked the fans with some wire and the motors worked great so the fans spinned. I replaced all relays and fuses for fans and A/C compressor and also swapped out the Coolant pressure switch. I also replaced the A/C Compressor and after running a vacuum on the lines the Compressor wouldn't kick on to take the refrigerant. I had a similar problem with a 2010 Honda CRV but I swapped out the A/C Compressor Switch and it worked perfectly. Scotty would this be the same issue?

Wow, that's quite a parts cannon! It certainly seems that you have some kind of electrical problem. Vacuum in the system should have pulled in enough refrigerant to permit the compressor to activate. How much rest pressure is currently in there? If the compressor has a clutch you could briefly hot-wire it with engine off to check that the clutch coil is not defective. Then if that is OK work your way back through the wiring. If the problem is a bad computer module the thing to do might be to follow Scotty's recommendation on bypassing it to run the AC directly from a switch.
