Hello Mr. Scotty,
thank You, and to all your team for great massive work you are doing for us.
I have simple hatchback, Corolla e12 2004 EU, 2.0 D4D 85kw, cca. 139000 miles, manual, with a lot little annoyances (rather than problems), but here is most interesting one to me.
When I need to stop for red light, while I brake, but still rolling, I shift to neutral, engine idles with steady 900 Rpm. As soon as I stop completely, idle drops to normal 800 rpm. Normal idle rpm on acceleration, have power, no error codes.
This also happens while engine braking without pressing braking pedal. Car is rolling on road (in N) and idle in higher rpm until complete stop.
Does someone have any idea what might soon broke down?
Best regards!
Just the throttle body acting up a little. Always a good indicator that it needs to be cleaned. Give this a shot and let us know how it goes.
