2007 Camry LE, automatic, 90,111 miles. While in drive after the car is warmed up, with my foot on the brake pedal, the car has a louder than normal vibration. When in park, neutral, regular driving, or reverse, the vibration goes away. I take very good care of this car my doing all my own maintenance minus the alternator that got replaced on 11/5/20 at the dealership after I ran out of battery. I did manage to video record the noise in drive then going away in park, etc. I can email the clips if someone can kindly lend a hand.
Check the engine and transmission mounts. It is unlikely that is is torque converter.
@yaser
Thanks. Will check that out. Literally created a username and password about 10 minutes or so ago. Still discovering how this works. Aside from engine or tranny mounts, secondary ideas?
Did the vibration start 'after' the alternator was installed?
Might want to rule out any issue with the new alternator itself, or a bolt not tightened.
Take a look at the belt. Tug around and see if it's loose. Start the car in park and see if it flops around.
