I've got a 2013 Toyota Venza 2.7L 4 cylinder with 96,000 miles. I am getting some noise coming from the front passenger side that sounds like a tire. The noise gets louder as speed gets higher. I took it to Discount Tire and the guy told me 2 of the tires were cupping and he showed me where they were cupping while he had them off of the car. Replaced those 2 tires and rotated and balanced them while it was there, and the noise didn't go away. I double checked and they did replace the correct tires. My friend is a mechanic so I took it to him. We determined the wheel wasn't bent, and we swapped the 2 front tires and the noise stayed in the same place. We checked the axle and it was sealed and not leaking. He thinks it might be the start of a bad wheel bearing but isn't sure. There was a bit of a humming noise at lower speeds when you couldn't hear the noise. My grandma probably hit a lot of curbs when it was her car, so that wouldn't be suprising. Are we on the right track and is there anything else that could cause this?
I took a video of the noise and uploaded it to YouTube: https://youtu.be/OaUWVhglYyw
Thank you for your help!
