What about just opening your own dealership to get a new car

Scotty,

Longtime listener watcher.

Just had a hillarious idea bout how to buy a new car at invoice. Would be for say a 100 or so goofey dudes to form their own car dealership ( " 100 GoofeyDudes Honda dealership") with 1cent shares. Total value of the entire company would be 1 dollar plus other state requirements, and they have no intention of ever selling the cars that they buy at invoice from the manufacture just down the road.... Like nissan in smyrna tn. The new frontiers and titan " inventory" that we buy at invoice 21k and 24 k  could be marked up way over what anybody would ever conceivably pay but could if they wanted to.

Now I can't stop thinking bout it.

Would be the perfect middle finger to erect and the timing is certainly right to do so. Ever c.e.o that I've seen is fed up with dealerships so I'm assuming that they would be supportive. Just sayin'.

What's wrong with this business llc model. Please take a red pen to it.

For starters it takes millions of dollars to set up a car dealership, with stiff franchise and regulatory requirements that must be met.

If you can figure out the logistics and legalities of it all, I think it is a great idea.

Like @chucktobias, there is soooo much regulation that this is hard to navigate.
