My brother owns a 2006 Lexus 400h (automatic) with ~155k miles on it. I have no clue the last time he changed the coolant (he's not the type to keep up with tedious maintenance). The coolant appeared slightly pink when I took a sample but there were brown and black specks in it. Judging how cooling systems are closed systems, I assume they are deteriorating gaskets but I wanted a second opinion. If anyone has any other ideas, let me know thanks.

Yeah Janet that would be deteriorating gaskets or deteriorating hoses they're black and rubber pieces can come off
